The Youth And Islam Theology

A man came to the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam and said: My camel starts crying whenever i go into my bed for sleep, i do not know the reason behind it and i am very much worried. Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam asked him if he offers his Namaz e Isha. The man answered: "No!I do not". Our Prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam told the man that your camel cries because he sees the fire under your bed when you go into it without offering your Namaz. The man offered his Namaz e Isha and that night, his camel did not cry anymore.[Muslim] This incident shows the importance of Namaz e Isha and there are many incidents which tell us about the importance of every Namaz. But today, people have forgotten their religion. They feel shame of acting upon it. They have restless nights and joyless life because they do not follow their religion. Especially our youth is going to the very wrong path, who has the responsibility of the nation on their shoulders. It is a very terrible condition to be sight.

The attitude of people towards Islam reveals the facts about that how much preference is given to Islam by them. The old people observe Islam with righteousness but the maximum of our youngsters do not like to observe their only religion. They have very odd views about a man who is observing Islam. They do not like to be friends with them. They want to be fashionable and look cool by adopting all the western lifestyle. They make those people their friends who look and think like themselves. It has been observed that majority of the youngsters do not follow Islam and so they do not prefer Islam as well as Shariyut. Formally, they accepted that they would prefer Islamic schooling. But the discussion is not about if there should be Islamic schooling or not! We are supposed to act on Islam but we are failed to do so. As the youngsters do not like to pray their namaz five times a day even.And our ALLAH tells us that the success is in the Namaz and the youth finds the success everywhere else but not in Namaz.

They neglect Islam because of its simplicity and adopt western culture to look presentable to the world but not to their Lord. Islam teaches us of righteousness and it is accepted by the people but no one wants to act upon these teachings. Allah the Most High says: "This day I have perfected for you your religion, and have completed my blessings upon you, and I am pleased in (having chosen) Al-Islam for you as your (complete) religion".[Holy Quran,5:03] It has also been observed that many of the people like whatever our Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam said and did. They like the sunnah but they never want to adopt it. Even if some of their friends adopt Islam, they do not want to talk to them like before as well. They will not allow their closest people like children or parents to act upon Islam because it consists of simplest lifestyle. But Quran, the tongue of ALLAH, has mentioned: "Say, If you love ALLAH, follow me; then will ALLAH love you and forgive you your

sins, And ALLAH is Most Forgiving and Merciful".[Holy Quran, 3:32] But it is unbearable by people to observe Islam with heart. Even they cannot tolerate others doing so far. Apart from it, Islam is actually rightful to to be accepted by heart and in its correct sense but our new generation is not giving it even one percent of its rights. Everyone including our parents, teachers, mates are living in a very materialistic world. They are not obeying ALLAH by obeying their religion. Everybody is restless without Islam. Most of our youngsters says that they do not know the reason but they are not having peace in their souls, minds and lives and do not know how to overcome it. In contrast to it, a person who is young and paying all his religious duties, he is called a muslim and have peace in his life. Undoubtedly, ALLAH has the best reward for them in the world and in the end of their lives as ALLAH says:

"Those who believe and work righteousness, joy is for them and a blissful place of (final) return."[Holy Quran 13:29]

The actual issue with our youth to be misguided is its society. Society has made most of today's parents numb that they do not consider the little sins of their children bad. They do not teach their children how to obey ALLAH. This situation is, somehow due to the behaviour of the society, that only a person who wears branded clothes, eats good, lives good gets a good response by the people. It has been seen that those parents who want to correct their children are finding it out of their control now. Because mostly children spend their time out of their homes in that society which leads them to a very wrong path. Their habits are getting permanent and they do not know that there is a great punishment on the doomsday for this. It is happening due to the very Non-Islamic culture in which we are now adapted completely that we do not realize our bad deeds. The young boys and girls have lost the sense that they are treating their parents so rudely like their servants. Where Islam teaches us to treat our parents with care and kindness. The Holy Quran says: "Your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him, and that you be kind to parents. Whether one or both of them attain old age in thy life, say not to them a word of contempt, nor repel them, but address them in terms of honor".[Quran 17:23] We are debt under their favors that we cannot pay for a single one of them if we wish so. Abdullah Ibn 'Umar saw a Yemeni man performing Tawaf while carrying his mother on his back. This man said to Abdullah Ibn 'Umar, "I am like a tame camel for her! I have carried her more than she carried me. Do you think I have paid her back, O Ibn 'Umar?" Abdullah Ibn 'Umar replied, "No, not even one labour pain when she was giving birth to you!"[Bukhari inA Al-Adab Al-Mufrad and authenticated by Al-Albaani] And they do not know how to respect their teachers. Teachers are losing their actual value just because of this flop society's ugly nature. Whereas teachers are declared as our spiritual father in Islam. But nowadays, they are disgraced at their back and sometimes on their face. This is an awful spectacle because the same social effect has victimised the teachers also. Teachers should be of extraordinary faith in God the Exalted, and should perform the rituals for showing the Islamic norms and destroying the seditious. They should also acquire noble traits so that God will cast understanding in their minds. Ibn Masud said,

"Knowledge is not the abundance of narration. It is an illumination that God casts in minds."[http://www.imamreza.net/eng/imamreza.php?id=3304]

It has been suggested by people that the main effect is received by the kids as they are getting stubborn by imitating their elders who are actually the current youngsters. They make their parents feeling shame in front of the people by behaving in a very rude and ill-mannered way. This is a very minor issue eventually because kids are getting affected by the youth and their bad habits in such a way that they will be coming up with such characteristics in their youth, which were called the signs of doomsday by our Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam. They will be throwing their old aged parents out of the houses as it is being done by some people nowadays.

The main reason behind this all social behaviour, discussed above, is the screening of media. Lets start with kids! Most of the parents have lost control over their children. They cannot stop their kids to watch television as they are becoming very much stubborn. Media is showing a very wrong scenery behind the facts. Kids are now opened to see every rubbish, shown by the media. They are getting known to everything. Then after this, they imitate the current youth which force them to get rude with everyone. Media is working so cruelly that it is becoming impossible to make the new generation and youth coming near to Islam. They have lost the interest in their religion. And also parents are not observing Islam so they are not able to reform their children. The media can do everything for the progress of the nation but unfortunately, it is not interested in doing so!

When discussing media, we have two current topics which can be used to examine the media roll in the society and destructivity of the youth. First is the use of Facebook. When asked to the people, it was observed that most of them stated it bad for the youngsters. It is actually harming our youth and now even kids. As discussed above, parents have no control over their kids of stopping them not to use it. Eventually they are proud of their kids, of age six to thirteen years, using it. There is a lot of garbage and full of naked pictures stuff. They adopt the western culture through it directly while our Islam says that an adult is supposed to observe Pardah strictly but there is no one to observe it. And if a person observes it, he/she becomes a victim of mocking in society. There is a bundle of posts and blogs on facebook against Islam. And kids, witnessing them, are getting a very bad impression on them about Islam.

The second of the topic is the use of www.youtube.com with proxy service. As we all know that youtube has been banned in the disgrace of our Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam made by some non-muslims ,in our country. But many of our youngsters are using this with the proxy service for the fun only. They are actually humiliating the grace of the Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam only to amuse themselves,nothing else. It is due to the unawareness of the people and this unawareness is due to this society which actually tells about to use this website illegally. Most of our educational institutions are conveying this sort of information because they have lost the sense that this country was achieved in the name of Islam, to act upon our only DEEN. How will ALLAH forgive us of doing sins like this!

Being a muslim, we are assumed to have some religious obligations for the betterment of this society, if we realize, only then. We should develop a sense of responsibility ourselves to struggle hard to make our youth aware of the fact that their only lifestyle is Islam. We should go from house to houses, preaching and spreading Islam by observing and showing it ourselves. We should sacrifise most of our busy time in the name of Islam. Islam, its teaching and its laws should be respected heartedly by everyone. We should pay our namaz five times a day regularly and invite our muslim brothers also to offer it. We should stop the youth of doing very small sins even and motivate them to realise their responsibilities towards Islam. We should teach everybody to behave equally with their muslim brothers and sisters inspite of observing discrimination due to money and designation. We should follow the sunnahs of Holy Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam And if we are failed in doing so, our aim to live this life fails and we will not be able to face ALLAH on the doomsday.
