Management is very important part in every work of our life. Even what we eat should also be managed. You can’t put

anything in your mouth directly it is also managed. In the same way, a team must be managed from the team members.

The team leader managed his team in well manner.

Effective Management Skills:-

The development of effective management skills deal with specific challenges

and problems of any organization is the urgent needs of many businesses and organizations in the global competitive

environment, rapid changing of technology and environment.The new tendency of training and development of

organization today is developing effective skills to deal with specific challenge of their organization to reach their

mission and objectives in the new organization that characterized by network , flat, flexible, diverse, global organization.

The "Effective Management Skill" helps the people and organization to improve their effectiveness and

efficiency of management.

For the development of an organisation the following are the effective management skills

which help for develop the organisation in the well manner. These are as follows:-

1. Develop managers:-Most companies are typically more pro-active than their peers when comes to

identifying and developing effective managers. The six most common managerial success traits are communication,

leadership, adaptability, relationship, development of others, and personal development.

2.Teach communication skills:-A manager with good communication skills is able to instruct the employees in well manner.

Managers who can communicate effectively can process information, and then relate it back to their team clearly.

Effective managers should be able to understand, and relate the organization's to see their employees

in order to maintain productivity.

3.Expand Leadership Skills:-Leadership is an attribute to expad the skills. It is common practice for companies to

promote employees with the best results.Good leaders are able to instill trust, provide direction, and delegate responsibility

among the team members.

4.Encourage Adaptability:-Adaptability means that a manager can think for creativity and find new solutions to solve

problems.

5.Improve Interpersonal Skills:- The managers have to improve the employees interpersonal skills, the managers

are well-knonwed about the skills that develop their organisation and the managers trained the employees according

to their needs.

6.Promote Personal Growth:-An effective manager developes their own personal skills. In order to

successfully develop and lead others, managers must improve themselves. A manager who learn more and use their

natural talents then their ability will be able to encourage the same behavior in employees.

7.Avoiding common mistakes:- The manager have to avoid some common mistakes of theri employees and then

motivate the employees to do good job in future.

8.Planning, making decisions, and problem solving:-the manager planned the process of the development of an

organisation and the making the decisions of the organisation and then solve the problems.

These are the key attributes of effective management skills that are need for the

development of the organisation.

*Management styles can be located on a sliding scale, with varying degrees of direction from the manager ranging

from the autocratic through to the hands-off.

Most commentators split management styles into three groups:

1.Authoritarian or autocratic

2.Participative or democratic

3.Hands-off or laissez-faire

1.Authoritarian or autocratic management style:-While the word authoritarian carries negative consequences, this can

be a highly effective management style and well suited to specific situations that require absolute clarity on objectives

and methods.

Planning for emergencies like a natural disaster or terrorist attack will be best by an authoritarian style of management

with clear aim of leading people involve out of danger.

2.Participative or democratic management style:-it is critical to give each employee an entire task to complete. If that's

not possible, make sure the individual knows and understands his or her part as it relates to project. When

people in team know where they fit they're more likely to be motivated to complete the task.

Take the time to explain the details and their role is important. Get their input on the task and its significance.

This will give them a sense of value, and hopefully, encourage them to take ownership of their piece of the project.

Do your best to make sure that the employees understand the tasks.

If the tasks are divided among groups, coordinate each group’s contribution so everyone knows where and how

they fit in the project. Make a concerted effort to minimize obstacles and difficulties arises. People know that you’re

happy to clear their paths so when a problem does arise, you are informed in a manner.

3.Hands-off management style:-If you want to expedite a project and optimize a process for completing that project,

managing by teamwork . When you motivate people to pool their knowledge, the results may exceed

your expectations. Often, teams can tackle problems more quickly than your own. This approach, sometimes called

laissez-faire, places a great deal of authority in team members to both understand and deliver objectives.

The risks of management approach are self-evident,team members mistake or misunderstand what they are

working towards, and allows a large degree of leeway to underperformance.
