4.1 Market Analysis

To start this type of business you have to follow the laws of the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and get the approval from them. Also you should have a commercial registration from the Ministry of Commerce and certification from the Chamber of Commerce. The government supports the small and the medium investors by large variety of financial options. The Oman Development Bank will support the company by offering interest-free loans to small investors. It will also provide administrative and technological assistance.

5.2 Production / Service Process

After that, the technician and his assistant will take the product and fix it at the site.

The owner is planning to rent a large area not less than (40 m²) and it will be divided by partition. Half of the area will be allocated for the showroom and the office. 7 Risk Assessment

7.1 Risks

Usually, the work on outdoor wireless equipment creates safety hazard to the personnel involved because the nature of the work needs them to be above the ground level on the radio towers. Another internal risk should be taken care of is the reputation. This company is new and needs some time for advertisement and reputation.

There are also external risks which are out of the company control. An Example for the external risks is the increase in the shipping fees from the factory to the agent in Dubai. This will force the supplier to increase the price of the products or to reduce the order quantity. Another external risk occurs if the TRA changes the laws of unlicensed frequency by applying annual fees which will make the customers avoid using this technology.
