Part A

1.JEFF- Jeff is a marketing graduate who has excellent ideas for company. He is also a General manager after Manu. He attracts new clients to company with his skills. He was talking to the technologists about the positive points of making their software and taking up a lot of their valuable time with regular staff meetings.

2.RALPH YUNG - He is the CEO of the company with very good record in the company from last ten years. He like to give suggestions to team but don’t like to waste his time in the staff meetings and look after the development of the organization. He focus on problems and complaints and try to solve them.

3.ROB –Rob is the oldest member of the technologist and thought he was in the line for team leader of the production department when Manu left. He was not glad to see Jeff as a General Manager and to run production. He always influences to make right decision in the company.

B )Administration – Sally was responsible for the administration department of the company. Sally is maintaining the communication lines in the company. she liaises daily with the various team leaders and their senior staff using a range of communication methods matched to the preferences respectively. Administrative staff do not prefer to communicate face to face over the phone.

Marketing – Jeff established small Marketing Department in company and His aim is to attract new clients and to make profit to the company. The CEO is impresses by jeff and sees him as a potential star.

Technologist – Manu look after the technologist department and when he left Jeff became the General Manager . Everyone is making good use of technology to communicate with each other. Jeff made some changes and talk to technologist department about making their software customer friendly with regular staff meetings but it cause stress and tension among staff.

Jeff – A young marketing graduate who has big ideas for the company and has very recently attracted two large budget clients. The CEO is quite impressed by and sees him as a star . But he is using wrong ways and techniques in the company to impress others and to prove himself to CEO of the company.

Sally –she is running small administration department in the company with the team of three persons. Ralph relies on sally for maintaining communication lines in the company , and staff members are making good use of the communication methods matched to the preferences of each individual.

Ralph - The CEO of the company and had a good record in the company for the past ten years . He is in his early 40s.

C. Agenda – Agenda for the meeting should be cleared to everyone so that everyone should give their views about their the problems

Aim of the meeting - It is very important that everyone should know the reason why the meeting is held.

Time Management – All staff members should get time to express their views in front of other staff so that right decision can be made. Time arrangement is also very important to make everyone available on time.

Memo of Meeting – We have to send the memo to everyone so that the staff knows about the time and place of the meeting.

Minutes of meeting- we should take the minutes if meeting.

D)

Group thinking plays an vital role to run a business. There should be a team work in a group.

In team work we should minimise all conflicts between all members of staff.

we can share new ideas and thoughts in group. We should make work interesting and valuable by giving targets to everyone and who will do best than give some award to the winner.

Group work is vital to prevent misunderstanding and maintain clarity about the things happening in the workplace.

By working in team give opportunity to everyone to explain their ideas in front of everyone

Besides this Team work provide us good opportunity to learn more new things and to follow rules and regulations of the company.

E)

We can use good way of communication in the company for example internet communication is cheaper and good. It saves time and it helps staff to communicate each other easily. By this we can increase the production of the company because to increase the production first communication between staff is must.

For security or training purposes we can record all internal communication which helps a lot in future to solve problems.

Internal communication help us to save time and money now we are not wasting time on staff meeting and all other events which was held for staff. So that time we will use for work. and it helps to get rid from stress.

2 ORGANISATIONAL GOALS AND POLICIES

Sometimes language becomes the barrier for the communication and person feel difficult to express their ideas.

Hearing problems and improper visual images results in communication breakdowns.

Using traditional methods of communication deflects the company from its goals .

Lack of information by having inappropriate ways of communication can deflect the company from its goals.

Sometimes goals are even blocked by wrong form of communication

Jeff is wasting lot of time on regular staff meetings . This cause stress and tension between all members of the staff who feel they should be focused on completing the project rather than being wasting time on meetings. Meetings results in extra workload among the staff where they were trying too put their efforts on completing the project.

Jeff just concentrating to prove Ralph that he is good manager and handling marketing department very well. He emailed Ralph that he made exciting new promotion for some really big companies , to distract board and to him from current issues

Ralph should need to give more time and concentration towards management and staff as well as Jeff should also become more concerned about the goal and target they have to finish.

There should be proper Internal communication between the staff because lack of proper communication causes a lots of problem for business environment.

There should be some awards to make the work more interested for example" The best employee of the month".

Up to date information and education must be there to run good business.

3)ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE AND ETHICS

A)

ETHICAL BEHAVIORS

Conflict between the Soma and Margaret has caused another tension between the staff. As Soma took Margaret's pictures about her new afair without letting her know.

Jennifer downloaded X rated images from internet and also some stolen software downloads also has been founded in her computer

Rob breaks the privacy act by looking into Sally computer screen to see staff's information and quickly downloaded a copy onto his flash drive.

Ralph hide all the things from board of directors which turns into the big problem in the company and results in bad performance in work

Communication way is not perfect as each department has their own way of communication.

Rob anonymously send the letter to board of directors rather than to Ralph, to show what a conflicts that Jeff is making inside the company as he doesn’t want to Jeff as a General Manager.

Soma took Magret's photos drinking with her colleague without letting her know and told everyone that this is her new affair

Interfering in other's work and getting personal information of the staff, braking up of privacy act of the company and staff.

Jeff used USA's company's copyrighted information as their own and without seeking permission because he thinks it is very difficult to find it. It is legal to seek someone’s information without permission.

Jeff's mistake will cause harm to the company as The USA company can be legally charged for the breach of copyright law as they found using the information illegally and can be sued for million of dollars and they can be charged for stoling softwares of other companies.

Jeff prefers to held staff meetings to discuss different issues and to make the software company more friendly and good.

Rob illegally prints the copy of report from Sally computer and after typing it on the letterhead he sent the snail mail to Chairman of the Board.
