Our company’s name is called "Solatech inside". The reason we want to name our company as Solatech inside is our nature of the business mainly focus on the production of solar film. Furthermore, the solar technology is still in the research and development stage. For example, there are so many solar products, such as solar automobile, still in the testing process. Therefore, those kind of the products are belong to the high technology and our nature of the business is emphasized on the solar technology. That’s why we use "Solatech inside" as our company’s name.

The logo we use to represent our business which includes the sun, leaf and grid. As we know, the solar energy is come from sun and the main power to drive the devices is come from sun light. It is the major element in the solar technology. Furthermore, the leaf is represented the environment. Nowadays, our environment is polluted seriously such as, the air pollution, water pollution and so on. Therefore, we choose the leaf to represent our environment to try to communicate the information about the solar energy is recyclable and able to protect our environment. Lastly, the grid in our business logo is represented the product we produce. Our product is film, so called photovoltaic film which enables us to convert the sun light or fluorescent light into the power and provides the power to others electronic products. All the combination we choose in our logo that represent different meaning, all of those components combine together that will present our company’s business and areas we involve.

The location of our company is located in Shah Alam. It is because the area of massive industries involves in and factories have set up around the areas. The characteristic of location can provide the benefit for us in the material, production and also the partners in our business.

Nature of business/ product or services offer

The most useful and greatly invention in this world is all those telecommunication devices, such as tablet, mobile phone and so on. These devices provide the convenience for the human being, it makes us can easily to communicate with others and also easily to communicate the information from one place to the other place. Although these devices make users’ life easier, it brings the problem for users. For example, the most serious problem we face is about the device out of power. It will bring many inconvenience for users, especially the users have the important information need to communicate or contact with others. Therefore, we come out with the concept which calls "Solatech". Solatech means that those kinds of problem will be solved under the solar technology.

The nature of our business is about inventing high technology product in term of solar energy. The solar technology means that the sun light or the fluorescent light will be converted into the energy that able to use in all the devices. Furthermore, this technology also makes the telecommunication devices’ battery will be charged by this converting energy. Our product will solve the problems the users faced effectively.

Our business will provide the product which call "photovoltaic film". The function of this film is the telecommunication devices will automatically re-charge when the power of batter is lower than a certain level. This will be controlled by the software and it can be set by the users. Furthermore, the film is easily to use. Users just need to put the devices under the sun or fluorescent light and the film will activate and charge the phone. It brings the convenience to the users and solves the problem they face.

Furthermore, the idea we source from is emergency situation. It is because this kind of situation is always faced by the users. For example, high consuming battery activities such as, connecting to the data networks, surfing the internet and playing the game. It will consume the power of the battery faster. Therefore, if the users want to make a call when the situation is emergency such as dealing with business partners, tourist search for the guiding in travel and so on situation. It make the inconvenience for users.

In this globalization era, the speed of transmission of information is higher than before. Therefore, the inventions of telecommunication device are come out in the world market. These devices bring in a lot of convenience for the users, it transmits the information in time and accurately for the users. Furthermore, these inventions also make the distance of people closer due to easy to contact each other.

Although these devices bring a lot of convenience for the users, they also bring many inconveniences for the users. For example, the users will face the most serious problems when they are using the devices. This problem is out of power of battery. The reason that we state that is the most serious problem, it is when the emergency situation is happened, but unfortunately the battery is running out. This is a very tougher moment for all the users.

Furthermore, although there are several substitutions for the photovoltaic film, such as external battery, it also cannot solve the problem of the users effectively. For example, the external battery has its life same with the battery of devices. After several charging for the external battery, it will shorten the life of external battery. Therefore, the external battery will be spoiled by charging for numerous times. If the external battery is brought by users to outside, suddenly the devices are out of power and the external battery is also spoiled or forgot to charge. This kind of scenario is also showed that the external battery cannot solve the users’ problem well.

Therefore, this is the main problem that facing by many telecommunication users. That’s why this is the opportunity for our company to come out the photovoltaic film to solve the problem.

How the proposed business solves the problem or fills the need

There are many problems face by the users when they are using the telecommunication devices. The problems are not only the functions of telecommunication devices, but also the battery and several physical problems. The problem we always face in the telecommunication devices is the problem of battery. Therefore, our company will mainly focus on this problem and seek out the solution.

Therefore, we come out the film, so called "photovoltaic film" to overcome this kind of problem. The functions of film will be worked under the place where has sun and fluorescent light. The film will absorb the particular light and convert it as the energy to store in the battery. This function maintains the power enough for the telecommunication devices to function.

Furthermore, some users will have the question about how the battery life-span because of overcharging due to the film will be activated under the light. The film will be controlled by software. This software will control the power fill into the battery. Furthermore, the users can set the time which is suitable for them. For example, when the battery power is lower than 30%, the film will be automatically activated and charge the phone.

In addition, the effect for the screen resolution also is the main concern of the users due to the thickness of the film. Our product, photovoltaic film, is only 100 micron, and it just attaches on the screen. And it will not have any effect to the resolution of screen. Furthermore, the most of the telecommunication devices also the touch screen basis, so the film also will not have any effect on it due to the thickness is thin enough.
