Business communication is a kind of technics that use among a consultant to promote their products, services, and the organization to the consumer. It also also can relay the information within the business or can deal with the legal and the similar issues between the supplying chain, like the consumer and supplier. Communication is exchanging information between the sender and receiver through a medium called channel which result in shared feedback. If communications among the worker are not effective, then the basic functions of management such as Planning, Organizing, Staffing, Directing ,Controlling and so on are cannot be performed. Business communication involves constant flow of information, however the integral part of business communication are the feedback from the people that involve in the communication before. Business communication also can be categories into Oral Communication and Written Communication. Oral Communication can be formal and informal. The communication like meetings, interview, speeches, and group discussion and so on can be known as the formal communication in Oral Communication. In addition, communication like Grapevine would be the informal communication in Oral communication. Next, the Written Communication is the written mean of business communication such as agenda, reports manuals and so on.

Introduction Question 1

First of all, we need to ask ourselves that " what is the meaning of personal qualities? " and the important to us to have our dream job. Personal qualities are a combination of a few personal characteristics of an individual that makes up a personality. This personality will help when they are staying in a new situation or working in a new area. For example, responsibility, self-discipline, attitude, self-aware and so on.

Attitude can be known as the capacity to stay as optimistic and be positive in the personal characteristic. Self-discipline is one of the most important personal characteristic that should have in every people. It means for the ability to control and to restrain impulses.

3.2 Answer of Question 1

Every people have their own dream job, neither than I. My dream job is to be a professional programmer. But what do I need to gain the personal qualities that will help me to gain my dream job. Personal qualities mean that, it is stand for our personality, our strength and also our weakness. Personality, it is a combination of a few personal characteristics of an individual. For example, if one of the employees is well known as very responsible and honest, the chance of getting hired is much bigger than a people that are not responsible and honest. Skills are also needed for an employee, it will help them to master their job faster, or even help when communicating with the other employees working at there. These are some of the skills that are popular wanted by the employer, such as effective communication, computer and technical literacy, Problem-solving and Creativity, Interpersonal abilities, Diversity sensitivity, Teamwork skills, planning and organizing, and lastly is the leadership and management. So let us find out what is the meaning of these skills that most of the employer wanted for it.

First of all is the effective communication. Now a day, all of the employer would like to seek for or have an employee that can listen to the instruction clearly and work on it with the minimal guidance. What are the employer wants are a employee that who speak, write and listen effectively so they can organizing their though logically and can explain everything clearly.

Next is the computer and technical literacy which most of the job in the modern city now would get used to it. Employee are require to understand that computer ranging from basic such as typing document to advance like using specific software, spreadsheet, or even internet navigation are also require too.

Beside of this, Problem-solving and Creativity are always wanted by the employer because what an employer needs is an employee that can get their selves out of a pickle and not just stuck in the same problem and can’t solve at all. The ability of problem solving can aid you when processing data, making transaction and also when the employees are reaching a resolution. Because the employer need the assurance from his or her employee can conquer their job challenges by thinking it creatively and critically.

Moreover, Interpersonal abilities also one of the skills that are needed to gain dream job that you is looking for. The Relationship-building and relationship-management are highly precedence by the employers. These skills will confirm that an employee can relate well to others, no matter is the employee, employer or even customer.

Furthermore, teamwork skill is the ability that can work well among each other while doing the same goal. Most of the employer’s love their employee have the team working skill while doing the job given.

Planning and organizing are just like the life in the workplace, we need to consider in advance of the information given or required by the organization. These kinds of people will be valued by the employers, metaphorically, dig a well before they’re thirsty.

Lastly are the leadership and management. This is the most important one among all of the skills that I have discussed about just now. Leadership consists of a very strong sense of self-confidential and good knowledge of the comprehensive information among the company goals. These are also the qualities that giving the motivation and inspiration and provide a foundation to the teamwork.

However, these skills might also affect the personal qualities of the person. Following are other personal qualities that are also highly rated by the employers. Adaptability and flexibility are almost the same like problem solving or creativity. The adaptability says that, almost half of the employers have given a high rating to the openness to ideas and rules. Professionalism and work ethic, the employers are seeking a worker that with positive work ethics who stick with challenges until they meet them.

Above are the personal qualities that will help us to gain our dream job in a bigger chance. As I said, my dream job is to be a computer programmer. The meaning of the computer programmer is the one who is writing the programs with instruction so that the computer will work in the good way. However, computer programmer are just a start from it, there are so many branches that can lead from the computer programmer, such as cracker, hacker, cyber-terrorist, software engineer and so on. A computer programmer are always needed to do some individual training consists of the computer system to perform for given operation. Besides that, computer programmer needed some form of computer coding language, which is include the XML, PHP, Perl, HTML, SQL, or a wide range of backgrounds. The computer Programmers are required to make a computer run correctly with the correct coding, or else the machine will be useless, because there is no software development is essential.

Most of the people started the confliction is because of the misunderstanding between the people that regard to what they get in result. Management of confliction involves the acquiring skills that related to resolution of conflict, self-awareness about conflict modes, communication skills, and establishing a structure for management of conflict around you.

On the 18th of March in the year of 2013, there was a conflict happened among my friends. The reason being is there are a group of student happens to come late for class because they took a long hour for their lunch break. These create tense for my lecture since she has been waiting for them to come back to start a class. When the group came in for class, all of them were penalize. Except one of them from the group escape. There were around 5 people in the group and due to this, other group members are not happy and they are having conflict among each other.

In my side of view, I think that the primary source of the confliction is because of the other group member are not happy of one of them was escape from being punish. I think the other party would agree about the primary source of the conflict is because of one of the group member are escape for getting punishment. Because if the lecture want to punish them, it should be punish in a group but not one of them are getting away.

The secondary source is about the lecture. Because the whole group are late together, so the lecture should punish them together. So it can avoid the conflict among the group. We can use the five methods to check for the five styles of conflict. These five methods are Avoid, Accommodate, Complete, Compromise, and Collaborate. Avoid is the method that is considering non-cooperative. Accommodate is a cooperation method. Complete. Compromise is when one is willing to be cooperative and one are willing to state his needs. Collaborate means the people that doesn’t withdraw from conflict but seeks for a solution.

In final, we must try to avoid for conflict, so we have to make good communication between people around you. First of all is the respect among each other, this will make other people feeling good and comfortable. Second is willing to help the others, because this will make people thinks that you are friendly and can be a good friend.

In the conclusion, business communication is very important to human life. It brought us a lot of helps and leads us to success. The advantage of business communication is that it can strengthen the partnership among each other.
