Here is the list of serious security risks and causes that SR Office may face if nothing was done.

First of all, the most serious and most dangerous was HACKER, hacker is dangerous for both our client and our own self. To our client, a hacker may able to track their sensitive information such as credit card transaction or their personal data. Where may lead to serious condition. If additional credit was charge, our company may need to bear all the additional charges and we will lost the trust of our customer. Even may lead to getting sue if the case gone really serious. If a hacker enter our system, it is a very serious treads to us. He might able to trace all our information and asset, or even make a false report or steal our customer details. As base on the research, some hacker not only wanted to steal information about our company, some is just simply wanted to crash the date of our company. They are most likely internet pirates or our competitive that wish to destroy our company.

Secondly, VIRUS are also a huge security treads to us and to our value customer. VIRUS are easily infect and spread true out our server and then to our customer without us knowing. It may crash our system, change our setup without us knowing, or even crash our security letting Hacker enter freely. Some virus are soo powerful even they may shut down our whole server and wipe every single data. We might lost our value customer if they spotted there are viruses at our site’s.

Thirdly, beside hacker and virus, the next most dangerous are SPYWARE. Spyware is a wide range of unwanted programs that exploits infected computer for commercial or personal gain. They can deliver unsolicited pop-up advertisements or even steal personal information including financial information such as credit card numbers, it can also monitor our customer web-browsing activity, routing their HTTP request to advertising sites. It is not as much dangerous as the above two treats but it may lead us to losing customer trust, as our sites may look like a scam or fake sites.

Next there are BUG’s, bug’s is just an unintentional fault in a program that causes actions that anyone intended, some bug may found harmful to us and our customer. Bug are not that much of treads as it is easily to spot. But it might be harmful if it accidently leak out unwanted information, or leave the bug is unattended to.

Lastly, the biggest tread only to our company are FALSE TRANSACTION. It is cause be using fake credit card. It may lead the company to a great lost if a transaction was not carefully monitor and if the purchases is in big amount. Online transaction are quite dangerous as we was unable to trace or check rather the credit card is real or not.

Even with all those risk listed above, E-Commerce is still the best way for doing business in this modern age. And is still the highly recommended. Base on research, all this treads above can easily be solve and prevent if it was carefully taken care of. Just a slightly improvement and awareness. Those problem can be prevent in no time.

For HACKER,VIRUS,and SPYWARE. All it needed was a good Internet security and Anti Virus for our main server. And build up extra firewall or more security code request. So that we able to build more trust to our customer to let them done their shopping peacefully. We just need to done some research and get the best Security for our site’s and our server. Using site’s starting HTTPS may proven the site is highly watch over by tight security. Hacker might think twice before hacking in such high security site. Education is the best way to ensure that our customer and worker take appropriate precautions. We can recommend our client to install personal firewalls on their machine, store confidential information in encrypted form, use appropriate password policies, firewalls and routine external security audits. A personal firewall help protect our computer by limiting the types of traffic initiated by and directed to our computer. We should also educate our value customer to use an online security checklist, such as whenever they logon, register, or enter private information, such as credit card data, ensure their browser is communicating with the server using SSL. Do not shop at a site when the browser does not recognize the server SSL certificate. This check is done by their browser the first time the URL becomes HTTPS for the site. If the certificate is not recognized, then their browser presents a pop-up message to inform them. Also avoid reusing the same user ID and password at multiple web sites and always logoff after used. Use only trusted credit card transaction procedure. With all these step educated to our customer, we not only build trust but also good relationship with the customer and gain more sales.

For bugs, it is the most easily be deal with. We just need to have a weekly maintenance on our server and sites. Having weekly check up and fix founded problem can easily kill all those bug. At last, for false transaction, we need to be extra awareness of this problem as it require our attention on every single transaction done by the customer. Also, we need make sure our site has a trusted transaction procedure given by banks merchant. Always have a full verification before and transaction was done is highly recommended.

As base on the report, all the security risk is still easily solve. So as result SR Office should continue and go on using E-Commerce and expand the business at its maximum potential. Just with a good service maintenance everything should go on smoothly. Customer will just build up smoothly.
