The government should also increase the fuel price which will automatically reduce the number of cars on the road. Nevertheless this also can reduce the percentage of accidents that may occur.

The government should widen the road which allows more cars to pass by. This is to reduce traffic because the narrower the road is, the more congested the road gets. The government should also reduce the millage of a car which will restrict the car to travel for long hours and distance. Road traffic and congestion can be reduced if government implies this method.

The government should also increase the cost of maintenance of the car. Other than that, the government should also provide transportation to workers to and fro. This will reduce the number of cars and the traffic caused after the working hours .

Furthermore, the government also must increase the age required to hold a license so that there will be less youngsters on road. This is because, youngsters have high tendency to just simply drive around without having an aim. This will definitely increase the number of cars on road and too be a nuisance to others.

Besides the government, individuals also play an important role in reducing the number of cars on the road. Car pooling should be practised by individuals whom stay nearby and work at the same place. This also supports the famous saying Go Green which supports the importance of environment. Parents, who are not working, should start sending their children to school by school bus and not drive out just to send them off to school.

Individuals should also plan their journey before leaving their house instead of driving aimlessly on road which will only cause traffic. People should also consider cycling and walking to their destination instead of driving. This will not only reduce traffic but will also enable people to practise a healthy life style.

The government and individuals both play a very important role in helping to reduce the number of cars on roads. Therefore both parties are responsible in reducing the traffic congestion and use more public transport.
