Abstract: Ethics in information management context involves in managing the information’s by using the computers according to the rules or the moral principles that govern the behavior of a group or the individual. Computers can be defined as the electronics device which is enable us to store and manages the data by using it applications. In addition, ethics in the information management context also known as the guidelines how to use the computers in right ways in managing the information and indirectly it can protect our personnel information. So, in the global technology the information has already significantly altered into many aspects such as in banking and commerce, medical care, transportation and entertainment and so on. With this information revolution most of the people used the computers to manage that information. For example, when someone wants to do the online banking, she/he uses the computer as the medium to transfer the information.

This paper has specifically focused on the ethics in using the computers. There are some guidelines of the ethics in using the computers to the users. The computers ethics is the moral standards which lead the users how to use the computers in effectively and efficiently ways. Through the computers ethics it can prevent the users of computers from being misuse the computers for their own benefits.

Introduction

Increasing the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) can help the individuals to solve the several problems. Even though the ICTs provide more advantages to the people, it might arise several ethical problems which are the privacy of personal information in the virtual environment and that information can be stole if the people not secure their privacy information.

So, to overcome this problem the computers ethics is develop to help the users how to use the computers in right ways in term of ICTs. The computers ethics can be defined as the branch of practical philosophy which deals with how computing professionals should make decisions regarding professional and social conduct. Computer ethics also known as the system of moral standards or values used as a guideline for computer users. In the computers ethics, it will focus on the issues of business management, speech privacy; criminality, privacy, and intellectual property issues. Nowadays, there are a lot of issues regarding the misuse of the computer which are some people have become the victims of the fraud, their information identities have to be stolen, and many mores.

Information technology is the main applications of the computers and telecommunications for managing the information’s of business or enterprise. With the existing of the information technology the computers ethics is more important things in the applications of computers. For example, there are several industries are associated with information technology, such as computer hardware, software, electronics, internet, computer services and so on. These applications should be manages by using the computers ethics code which is it can protects their information and the intellectual property.

Applications of the computers ethics can bring us to the effectively ways in managing the information. This is because, through the computers ethics we can identify the issues and directly know how to manage the problems. By using the computers ethics the problems also can be overcomes and our private’s information can be safe in the computers. If the people not really care about the using of computer it can truly be devastating of their information.

Besides that, another resource is come from the newspapers which are having a lot of information about the current issues. Through the newspapers, it can help us to find the information in the easier form. On the other hands, the information also gives us the idea how to solve the problem regarding our topic. Definitions and concepts of Ethics

There are various definitions of ethics. It can be defined as the study of what is right and wrong in human behavior. The concept of ethics in that article is discussing more about the computers ethics which is how to use the computers in proper ways. The term of computers ethics it was created by Walter Maner in the mid-1970s and then in the 1990s this term was being to be integrated into the professional development. The concept of computers ethics is actually been founded and implemented over the years by the information ethics. So, indirectly, the computers ethics is the important things in the use of computers.

The title of this article is problems related to computer ethics which is origins of the problems and suggested solutions. The author for this article is Prof. Dr. Abdullah KUZU from the Anadolu University of Turkey in the Faculty of Education Department of Computer Education and Instructional Technologies. In the articles, the author defines the computers ethics according to the others authors which is James Moor. James Moor have created the article which entitled "What is Computer Ethics" [1985] and he defined that computers ethics as a field concerned with "policy vacuums" and "conceptual muddles" regarding the social and ethical use of information technology.

There are some of problems might rise in the used of the computer technology. The computers can provides us with the news capabilities and these in turn give us new choices for action. The main function of the computer ethics is to determine the solutions for the some problems or cases. Computer ethics in the information technology is rapidly evolving into a broader and then might reasonably called "global information ethics". The global network such as internet and especially the World Wide Web connecting the people around the world and there might cause some problems in terms of sharing the information to the wrong person. And then, their information can be manipulated and people should be careful in using the computer over the technology.

As technology advances, the using of computers continues to greater impacts on the society. Therefore, computer ethics promotes the set of moral principles which is regulate the use of computers. Besides that, computers ethics also in charge to investigates some problems regarding the use of information technology. For example, the hackers use the information technology in way to disturb privacy and property of the persons. To investigates that problems, the computer ethics are basically develop the frameworks as their guidelines to solve the problems.

In the computer ethics there are some guidelines how to use the computer in the information technology and at the same time it can solve the problems. The first one we should not use the computers to harm others people. That means we should not use others personal information for some purpose and can lead to the illegal crimes. Besides that, not copy or use proprietary software for which you have not paid. For example, using the shareware programs which is free, but it is illegal to copy or modify them without permission since they are copyrighted. In addition, use a computer in ways that show consideration and respect for the others users of computers. In the information technology, there are a lot of people using the computers so we should consider if want do any harm for them such as hacks their personal information. Implement with these principles it can develop the understanding to the people in use of the computers over the information technology.

Computers should be placed at the secure place to prevent our data to be stole and the internet also not a secure place to store personal information. For example, through online banking applications, which might publicize secret personal information. The personal worker also not stored the personal information in the computers of offices. Some websites required users to provide some personal information personal information in the virtual environment

In the computers ethics, sometime people use the information to harm others people which are provide the inaccuracy information. The information is not accuracy if the users lack of control mechanisms or insufficient supervision of information on the Internet. When people access the information over the internet, they not realize either they access the correct information or not.

If our computers do not have the updated version software it can put in risk which can might our computer to be damage. In addition, the users should install the antivirus from the computers being crack by the hackers.

On the other hand, the users also should not provide their personal information on the internet. Acknowledging the source of information can prevent from the unethical ethics in using the computers. The users should know where the resources come from and identified that information is accurate or not. Besides that, the user should control of the information accuracy with the legal precautions such as generates the legal sanctions. In addition, the users must use the trusting website in research the accurate information.

Intellectual property.

To solve the problem regarding the intellectual property of the individual and legal precautions, preserve the privacy information with the laws and buy the copyright. This problem solving might be taken to prevent the intellectual property were be hackers. Besides that, using with the computers to prevent the intellectual property of information distributes to others person the user should use the digital signatures. The digital signatures it is known as digital identity that users create so it can prevent from the duplication or unauthorized use information.

The recommendations for the accessibility problems are such as the individual should strive for self-development. Meanwhile for the economic accessibilities are consists of economic Precautions, developing freeware and free access to Internet. To prevent the others people access the information, the users should maintains that information even they are difficult to control. For the institutional solutions, there are several solutions which are increasing bandwidth, infrastructure improvement and governmental support to education.

The existing of the computers ethics is because there are a lot of problems regarding the user’s ethics in using the computers. The misuse of the computers also could make the users information can be access and can harm the people by stole their information.
