In my own word, Information technology is about the computer and software. Whereas IT is used to save the data, processing information, can make a transfer and so on. Now days, IT is very important because IT can make each other to interaction with easily and fastest.

1.1.2 What is business?

Stephenson defines business as, "The regular production or purchase and sale of goods undertaken with an objective of earning profit and acquiring wealth through the satisfaction of human wants."

In my own words, I think, business is the process of sell and buys where; the seller will get the profit and can make a satisfaction to the customer through the selling process and customer will satisfied with the wants and need that they want.

1.1.3 How IT and business connected?

Now a day, business and IT is the component that really important in every business and organization. How this component is, the business person can storage the information, transmit the information with just use the IT. From there, it can make easier to business to save all information and easy to access the information again. For example, if the business just use a file only to save the information about their business, it’s hard to them to open many file. When use the IT, they can save the time to access pervious information.

Other than that, the business person also can promote their product or services with use the IT. It can make they can increase their profit with have an offline and online business. From there we can see how the business works with IT and really needs each other.

From the objective, the business can know more precise and detailed statements of what they aim in their business with use the IT. for example, the business wants expand their business into internationally, then with learn and use the IT, the business can expand their business to international because they can seek the opportunity when know the information from the internet.

From use the IT, it can make a low cost. This is because; the dealings will be in email only. Company and supplier can deal with through email only. What can I say, business and IT is very important now a days because now a days it has more advanced technology the world have. So that, to make successful in business, I think it is important companies and entrepreneur use IT as the medium to success in their business.

For me, IT is good for company because IT can make their marketing will be easily to run. Advertising can make in internet, and also the payment can also through the online such as Paypal or secure card credit. For inform the new product, becoming sales, they can send the email, message through phone. For example AEON Jusco Company do that. They give a message to the members to let their members will know about their special day. From there, customer will be alert. I also as AEON Jusco member, when I get message through the phone about the information of sales, I had gone there.

In my opinion also with use the IT, the IT system can give entrepreneurs remote access to their company’s electronic network, so that they can work from home or at everywhere there are. This accessibility allows the entrepreneur or company to increase their productivity because still can work done even not in the office.

I also want say that, with use the IT, the work flow of business will be quickly and more efficient. This is because the IT can make faster rather to update the latest information and more accurate during do a calculation with the IT.

Business and IT now a day a very related each other. Mostly company or entrepreneurs now a day’s use the IT as the medium in their business to become more efficient. But without we realize, IT also have a disadvantages if not use with right way.

The information that have in internet sometimes not true. So this is the lack for the company and entrepreneur to get true information. if the company find the wrong information, the research that they do will not accurate.

Other than that, with use the IT, it is dangerous when some people that irresponsible send the virus to destroy the information of company. So that the company must remind and make a hard copy about the information.
