Introduction

This paper discusses about system development and the concepts of system development cycle. The system development cycle was a process of creating the information system and models as well as methodologies that people utilize to develop these information systems. In the case of software engineering, the system development life cycle underpinned many types of software development methodologies in order to form the framework for planning and controlling the creation of an information system. This paper details the framework for planning and controlling for the creation of an information system in software development process.

This paper explains the seven phases of system development cycle phases that were used to create the information systems. The system development cycle included the seven phases that were planning, system analysis, system design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance. This paper mitigates the main concepts of these seven phases of system development process and also details the different types of software methodologies in order to implement the successful systems (George Reynolds, 2009).

The software methodologies included the Ad-hoc, Prototype, Iterative, Agile and Totalitarian and in this, Agile, Iterative methodologies were used to implement the successful system. This paper provides the examples that how each step of information system lifecycle was developed the information system. The goals of each information system life cycle were to ensure the formal procedures and methods of information system. This paper describes the information system that developed the current information system documents and reports.

Main concept of system development cycle

This research methodology focused on the seven phases of system development cycle. This research details about planning and the planning was the system development life cycle phase that determined the ways to accomplish the goals of systems. This planning included the screen layouts, process diagrams, business rules and documentation for software development process. The system life cycle was the effective that provided the information model and the process for the utilization of people. The system analysis was the second life cycle phase of system development that found the problem of software organization and it can submit the solution for mitigating the problems in order to achieve the problems (Marite Kirikova, 2002).

This research included the structured analysis, computer aided systems. This paper mitigates the development cycle as the one of phase of system development cycle. The development was the phase where the company hired a programmer, network engineer and data base developer may use a flow chart for the process of system. The installation process can be taken in this phase in order to enhance the software organization. The testing was the fourth phase that was to ensure the workability and it can bring all the pieces together into a special testing environment. If any problem was occurred in organizations, then the testing phase will find easily.

The system design was also the phase of system development life cycle that submits the details about specific functions and parts of organization and it included the scree layouts, business rules and process diagrams and documentation for software organization. The implementation was the sixth phase of system development life cycle in this phase, the real code was written here and hence the system can be ready for an actual working environment. The training was the most important to this implementation phase for the successful process. This phase also included the efforts required to implement plan for sustainment as well as resolve the system problems.

This paper provides the seventh phase as maintenance system development cycle. The maintenance was the seventh phase that ensured the system in order to meet the system requirements. It also supported to the system and resolved the reported problems. This paper details the phases of system development system in order to make the better creation of information system to people. This paper includes the software methodologies in order to make a system development cycle effective (Gary B. Shelly, 2009).

The software development methodologies included Prototype, Agile, Ad-hoc and Iterative and so on. In these methodologies, the Agile and Iterative were the effective methodologies that should be used for the implementation of successful system. Agile methodology was used to make the planning, analysis, design to the system and the Iterative methodology was used to avoid the problems. The information system cycle included the design, programing, installation, feasibility study and maintenance etc.

The goal of the information system cycle was to improve the formal procedures and methods of business information system. The system development cycle included several parts and the one part of system development cycle was the software development cycle. The system development cycle was the conceptual model that was used in project management in order to describing the involvement stages in an information system. The information system developed the current information system documents and reports to implement the systems.

The methodology of information can examine the data information flows in software organization and the successful software development increased the revenue, prevented the liabilities to the success of information system. The establishment of information, analysis of cost and benefits were provided by the methodology of system development cycle to the enhancement of information systems. The system development cycle was the one that makes the problem detection and identification methods to the information system. This paper provides the details about the contribution of system development cycle to the information systems.

Research methods of system development cycle

This research method discusses about the system development cycle and the importance of system cycle to the information systems. The system developed the seven phases of development cycle and this research provides the concepts of each phases of system development cycle. According to this research, theses seven phases of system development cycle played a vital role in the case of enhancing the information technology or software organization. This research method creates the altering information system, models and methodologies in order to developing the information system.

This research also aimed for the production of high quality system in order to meeting the expectations of customers and reaching completion within the time period and cost estimation. This research states that the computing systems were the complex and the system development cycle in order to mitigate the problems in the information systems. This research also included the various types of software development methodologies in order to make the plan, control the process of enhancing an information system (Arthur M. Langer, 2007).

This research concerned with the process of creating the software to the IT organizational development. This research method made the main ideas to the software methodologies in order to pursue the development of information system in a structured way. This research method mitigates the similarities of system development cycle and software development cycle. These similarities will be used to the enhancement of information system. This research includes the various types of software development methodologies in order to implement the successful information systems. The research examines this paper by providing the information cycle in order to develop the information system.

Comparative discussion

The present system development cycle research was the effective one than the previous one. The previous system development research provided some conclusions that were complex to the information system and some concepts were not suitable for the development of information system. But this current research of system development cycle is used in many ways to the information system development. This research determines the system development life cycle phases and different types of software methodologies to the information system. Hence this current research of system development cycle played a positive role to the information system than the previous research.

Conclusion

This paper discussed the system development methodologies and the concepts of system development methodologies. This study also focused the seven phases of system development cycles and explained each phase of system development cycle. This study included the several software development methodologies and importance of those methodologies. This study also provided the similarities of system development cycle and the software development cycle for the enhancement of information system. This study concluded with this research by providing the steps of information cycle to the enhancement of information system.
