INTRODUCTION

Business-IT alignment is a dynamic state in which a business organization is able to use information technology (IT) effectively to achieve business objectives typically improved financial performance or marketplace competitiveness [1] . Based on the above definition, information technology and business are related between each other.Many of the business will connect with the information technology this is because nowadays technology has been increasing drastically in the market. So, every business of the organization will be connecting with the information technology. Other than that, the uses of information technology in the business is very important because it will make our business may achieved our objective trough the information technology such as performance of the organization, cost deduction and etc.

The use made by the IT is recognized as crucial tothe good performance of an organization (Laudon,K., &Laudon, J., 2009) [2] . Here, I can say that information technology is very important nowadays because if the organization using information technology it can make the performance of the organization will be run smoothly. Other than that, through information technology also, the organization can improve their business and can use it effectively for the business purposes.

So, information technology can help many organizations through it and at the same time it can make the organization can achieved their objectives and can communicate over the world by selling their products and services.

OBJECTIVE (S)

The first objectives of information are the key of the business success is product development [3] .Many organizations that used the information technology can make the product development through it. It is because by using the information technology the organization can save their time while enter into the market. For example like if there are have the customers that want a product like apple iPod, then they can go to the apple website and make the requirement about the product that they needed. So, by using information technology we can see that the information technology helps businesses respond quickly to changing customer requirements and at the same time Information technology can speed up the time it takes new products to reach the market.

The second objectives information technology is the key to the business success is cost efficiencies [4] . Eventhough the organization want to implement information technology at the high cost, but for the long term used information technology can reduce their costs or saving the costs. This is because nowadays many organizations that used information can increase their productivity and maintaining the performance of their organization. For example like if they applied information technology in the business will cost the business spent more costs towards the information technology buy yet in ling term it will make the advantages towards the organization whereby it can reduce the cost of paying the costs of postage and vice versa.

The third objectives of information technology are the key for the business success is globalization [5] . Every company wants to globalize their products and services whether in local market or international market. So in order to achieve their goals they have to be more creative and innovative in creating their products and services. Through that, the other competitors also cannot compete with the company if the products and services different than other competitors then it will be the benefits to the company in maintaining their position at the market.

The last objective of the information technology is the key business for success is process improvement [6] . It is related to the enterprise resources planning systems (ERP) that can make the manager can review the costs or budget that have been used and the sales of their business. By using the information technology such as enterprise resources planning systems (ERP), the company can easily check and update the data or information in the system. Other than that, the company also can easily make decision with quickly through it because the manager can know how much the budget that they have been spent for the business and manage their financial.

BODY AND DISCUSSION

For the objectives first which is information technology is the key for the business success is product development, we cans see that information technology is very important to the organization for the business purposes. This is because if the organization didn’t used the information technology in their business then it can make the performance of their company is not flexible and cannot reach to the market quickly. If the company wants to produce some product or services of course they will need to promote their product. So, by using information technology it can make the company will easily promote their product and services through the internet and all thecustomer over the world can reach their products at the market.

Other than that, by using information technology it can make the company can communicate with their customer through the internet for example. This is because if the product and services that the company produce and sell it at the market, so, the customer can make the complaint or feedback towards the product that the company produces. At the same also, it can make the company can give their responses quickly to their customer and then the customer also do not have to wait for the long time in order to know the answer. Through that, the company can make their business performance can be improve better for the future used and it is the advantages of the company by using information technology at their business.

Next the discussion of the second objectives information technology is the key to the business success is cost efficiencies. Every company is very considering about the costs that they will use for the business purposes. So, through the cost efficiencies the company can reduce their costs for the long term used because even though they need the high amount while implement the information technology at their company but the company has wise to choose whether they want to used the high costs or not for the implement the information technology.

For example like if the company not used the information technology at their business. We know that this is very hard for the company to reach their product and services to the market and of course it will needed the high costs because it is include the postage, promotion and sells. So, if the company implements the information technology in their business such as used company and internet connection it will make the company will easier to promote their product and services through the internet because using the internet to promote the product and services it is no need use any costs at all. Other than that, if they want to promote their products and services to their customer through the internet, it can make the company can sent the email or advertised it at their website. By that it can make the customer can reach their products and services in the world even have a cross border that can be their barriers. So, the company can reduce their costs for the long term used because if the company can implement the information technology at their business it can make the business can reduce their costs and increase their business performance improving their product quality.

Besides that the discussion about the information technology is the key to the business success are globalization. Talk about globalization, we will think that the products is enter into the local market or international market. However, to enter into international globalization, the company has to work hard and be smart and creative while produce the new products. So, in order to company success in their business, they have used the information technology because it is core operating models essentials for the globalizations such as telecommunicating. Trough the telecommunication the company can communicate with their customer or supplier whether they are not in the same country. Using information technology the company can be more flexible in term of time management, sell their products and services or in term of communicating also even it is across the border line of the country.

For example like the company wants to produce the products and services that no company have done before. So, they have to use their creativity and more innovative while create the products. This is because, if the company produces the products and services that different than others, then they can have strong position in the market and at the same time if their products and services have high demand in the international market, they also can market their products internationally follow the customer’s demand. But, the company has to be careful to their competitors because competitors will duplicate or create the same product like the company and it also becomes disadvantages to the company. So, if the company wants to overcome that problem which is about the competitors, they must be wise and plan the strategies by creating the products and services are more unique and creative thatthereare no products and services like that in the market. Hence, it can make the company can maintaining their position in the market whether locally and internationally and also can run their business run more flexibleand smoothly by using the information technology.

As the conclusion, of course information technology is driven the business to be successfully in the market because without technology the companies cannot communicate with their customer through the internet, not flexible while promoting and selling their product in the local and international market and the important things is the company will not achieved their business’s goals and cannot save their costs.

So, here the every company have to used the information technology because by using it in the business, it can make the business performance can change drastically and become more better, and then they also can communicate with their customers whereby through the internet the customers can give their complaints or feedback about their product and services, at the same time also the company can responses it to the customers very quickly without waiting for the long time to give the responses.

Hence by having information technology in the business it will make the company can run smoothly and efficiency because using information technology it can make the employees or managers can works even they are not in the same country and more flexible.
