This assignment is about students showing of their creativity and innovation. Therefore my innovation is wireless charging from a distance which is integrated with Energizer® Single Inductive Charger. This wireless charger is only for smartphones with wireless charging capabilities.

The purpose for this innovation is to allow users of smartphones to move around with their phones and not leaving it at one place. This will eliminate the hassle to leave the phone at another place while he/she wants to do something else. This would be a great technology since it is very convenient. The design is small and easy to be handled; the slick design is attractive and come in 2 colors which are black and white.

In this document the following involves: Competitor Analysis, Market Segmentation, Idea Generation and Idea Evaluation. The Competitor Analysis section is to compare the Target Market, Uniqueness, Limitation and Technology used in design by each competitor. In the Market Segmentation section, the criteria to come up with the good target market are discussed. Problem Finding is to analyze the concept of the product so find out whether it is feasible or marketable. The Idea Generation section includes the Mind Mapping, Attribute Listing, Force Fitting Trigger and SCAMPER techniques to generate the best idea. The Idea Evaluation section contains the Sticking Dot technique and the Force Field Analysis.

At last the Plus minus Analysis and Force Field Analysis is conducted in this report. With this report there the pros and cons can be easily identified of this concept introduced. Moreover, there is a survey forms to be filled by my Managerial Staff and APU Organization.

Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is a charger that has the combination of two technologies which are wireless-charger and WI-FI. Energizer® Single Inductive Charger can charge any smartphone with wireless charging technology integrated in the range of 20 meters. The benefit of Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is to able customers to move around the compound while charging their smartphone. The disadvantage is the further the smartphone is away from the Energizer® Single Inductive Charger the longer it takes to charge the smartphone.

1.3.1 Uniqueness

The uniqueness of Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is the wide range to charge the smartphone. Other than that, Energizer® Single Inductive Charger can be used for any smartphone on any platform. Moreover, the uniqueness of Nokia Wireless-Charger Fatboy is it has multi-color to choose from which are Yellow, Black, Blue, White and Red. Furthermore, the uniqueness of GETPOWERPAD™3 is it has the thinnest thickness for a wireless charger.

1.3.2 Limitation

The limitation of Fatboy is the range to charge the smartphone is not far apart. This means the smartphone has to be on the fatboy to charge and can’t be moved away. Moreover, the Fatboy is only designed to charge one smartphone at a time.

The limitation of Get Power Pad 3 is almost the same as Fatboy as in the device must be on the pad to be charged and can’t be moved. Other than that, Get Power Pad 3 can only charge up to 3 devices because of the limited space and to charge the device a special charging case is needed to be equipped on to the smartphone.

The limitation of Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is the further the smartphone is away from the Energizer® Single Inductive Charger the longer it takes to charge the smartphone. Moreover, the Energizer® Single Inductive Charger takes more time to charge if more device is being charged at the time.

1.3.3 Technology

The Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is designed to be used by all devices in the range of 20 meter to charge the smartphones while on the go around the compound. Therefore, if a device is needed to be connected to the charger it will require a password to enable the Energizer® Single Inductive Charger to start charging for security purposes, it to avoid unauthorized users to use it. Moreover to charger faster, the smartphone should be closer to the charger. Energizer® Single Inductive Charger is also the combination of wireless charging and Wi-Fi.
