Dark circles is a common problem these days. They totally change one’s look! The real reason for dark circle is stress and lack of sleep. Get good a good night’s sound sleep and stop reading from Smartphone/ Tablet screen before going to bed. These work better than the tips! It is recommended by experts to look away from the computer screen for 5 minutes every 1-2 hours at work, especially for those who are constantly using laptops and desktops all through the day.

The other reasons for dark circles include vitamin deficiency or lack of blood circulation in the nerves below the eyes that are thinner than human hair. So, is would be great if one could make time for some facial exercises and regular massage underneath the eyes. They are not a very grave problem but can make you look 10 times older than you are. And in today’s competitive market, anti-ageing and skin lightening creams are considered as a fashion, but may be harmful on tender skin around the eyes.

We have home remedies for many issues in India from the olden days dating back to centuries, but the fact is, we don’t believe and follow it strictly until it comes from the West! Isn’t that true? For those who believe in natural products, here are some remedies to get rid of dark circles:

Pure almond oil is very helpful. Apply a drop and leave it on overnight. You will sure feel the beauty of smooth skin in the morning

Clean the eyes with clean water. Water cools down tired eyes, and it is always better to do this every hours in a day

Grate some bit of raw potato and soak a medium sized cotton ball in the potato juice for a while. Place these cotton balls on your eyes encircled with dark circles for 10 minutes and wash it off with cold water after 15-20 minutes

Apply a mixture of tomato and lime juice on your dark circles twice a day. This will help in reducing them to a large extent

Apply cucumber juice for about 10-15 minutes and then wash off your eyes with plain water. This will help in reducing eye-stress

Applying a mixture of potato juice and cucumber juice proves quite effective in treating puffiness around the eyes and also helps the dark circles

Used and cooled tea bags help a lot in revitalizing the gentle area under your eyes. Or crush some mint leaves and apply them around the eyes. Doing this will also provide a cooling effect for tired eyes

Dark circles can also be effectively treated with fruit pulp and raw vegetables that act as coolants

Until you get rid of them, do cover it up with concealers. Preferring randomly simple Ayurvedic home remedies is also a great idea. There are quite a lot of things like Olive oil, Almond oil, vegetable juices, etc., that are accessible at home easily. Try any of the tips and treatments that suit you and get rid of those dark circles!

Job without a degree certificate

Working from home is becoming common these days! More than 3.2 million students took up freelance jobs to earn a fairly good pocket money in their spare time after their college hours in the last decade, states a new Census report. The biggest jump was between the years 2005 to 2010, when the percentage of such freelancers went from up from 8% to 10%. The trend now is such that students are quitting their studies too! Costly education has also been one of the factors that forced students to consider trying their hand at easy work-from-home jobs. Well, however, some students are reconsidering the outmoded model of studying and completing the undergraduate or graduate courses before entering the workforce.

You don’t need a degree to work. Ultimately, it’s your knowledge that matters. There are various examples like the great Dhirubhai Ambani, Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and many more who do not possess a college degree but still they explored their potential to innovate something new that resulted in something great. If you want to follow the trend then do it, here let me help you there are jobs available that pay well and for which the demand is growing, making job security and the prospects for higher salaries very positive for workers without a degree in hand.

Online Advertising Management - In the social media marketing world, anyone can be an online advertising manager. This doesn’t require a degree or a certificate; what it requires is just creative skills and talent. Apart from this, you need to know how to use your social networking sites as means for improving a business. Facebook has more than 2 billion users while Twitter has a little over 300 million. An online advertising manager is in charge of how a company connects, interacts with and monetizes the online community. It will be of great advantage to have the knowledge of social networking and beyond it, especially if you know the secrets of marketing!

Bottom Line call center - College is expensive and colleges no longer guarantee a great job, but keep in mind that these jobs are exceptions rather than rules. Statistics still show that those who have a college degree will earn more on an average than those who do not, but these days, it’s turning out to be reverse!

Fitness trainer - If you are into fitness, then enrol yourself in to the field by training others! The package depends on your area of specialty. Working with celebrities in Hollywood will earn you more than working at a small gym in the Midwest. Many trainers cater to young clients! So lure them and start your own gym!

Executive Assistant – This must sound familiar right? Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing records, transcription, and stenography, designing forms and other office procedures can sweep you to the executive assistant position. What exactly you have to do? Just manage and maintain executives’ schedules, prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and others by using MS office tools.

Give it your best shot. All the best!

Milk Can Fetch you a ‘Nobel’

As per the research published in New England Journal of Medicine, there is an association between a nation's chocolate consumption and Nobel laureate prowess, speculating the flavonoid content of chocolate behind the boost in brain power. (Times of India.com)

Not just this, the research found that milk along with chocolates makes a cleverer person. While collecting the data, the researchers found that among 22 countries, Sweden had the most number of Nobel laureates. Switzerland, which bags more than 100kg of the milk products every year, shared a Nobel haul of 32 positions in the report. At the other end, China was reported as the lowest number of Nobel laureates in its population.

But there is a reasonable biological explanation for the Nobel link. As the milk is rich in Vitamin D, it can boost brain power, the survey suggested. But relating it to the Nobel - this sounds almost impossible. You can't win a Nobel Prize just by drinking milk; you need to make use of your brains and prove your talent & knowledge in any kind of constructive, productive and socially advantageous actions and innovations. Milk can surely boost your potential and give you a lot of energy. Yet, I think more research is needed on this topic before sharing it with the world.

If drinking milk gives Nobel laureate prowess, then why are people from Punjab and Haryana not won Nobel Prizes? Winning a Noble Prize by people who drink more milk in India is impossible because of the fact that most of the milk types available is adulterated and made artificially using Urea and other harmful chemicals. For most, what matters most if one can complete education with ease to fetch a good job. If consuming milk can help, then it is worthwhile doing it. Personally, I believe this - kids who take in a good amount of milk may not become too brawny but will be intelligent for sure.

So why not try a hand at improving your chances of winning Nobel Prizes? You should not only eat more chocolate but drink milk too. All the kids out there, ask your parents to get you chocolates and milk every day!

Comment:

Ohh! so Mahendra Singh Dhoni is in line for Nobel Prize ?

Leave alone getting Nobel Prize, when will the small children in slums in India get a chance to see what color the milk is and also a cup of milk per day ? When will the superstitious people stop pouring milk in snake pits to propitiate Snake Gods?

It is so simple- if your health is in good state then your mind also works good.

Chapter called life

Last night I added a new chapter to the book of my life. Every time a new event takes place, I look all the way back to the first chapter and derive great pleasure in reminiscing about the whole story in its proper order. It gives me a great personal satisfaction in revisiting the progression of my life and how the interplay of life’s million nuances has affected it.

I was seated last night with Vaz, an old colleague of mine. The two of us have been quite close for the last 50 years. Because our ages match, communication is easy and rich. Vaz is undergoing a bout of poor health but that didn’t make any difference to the warmth that exuded from him. I couldn’t read his mind but I still hazard a guess that his perspective on life’s events could not have been different from mine. We were invited to an event, related to the wedding of a young boy whose father worked with me. Allow me to call him ‘Guy’. His son is now 33 and he has daughter as well, who is much older. Guy retired from work about 5 years ago and that puts his age as 65. He had invited a lot of people, whom he has known over the years. The place was thus full of people. I have known many of these people pretty closely. Yesterday, just looking at them gave me a strange thrill.

Guy was barely 23 when I saw him first. He was just out of college when he got a job. He joined the same organization where I worked. As a leader of a small group of engineers, I was assigned the task of executing a project. When Guy came to see me on his first day at work, I found him a bit shy. Well, that was expected of a newbie but he appeared quite promising as an engineer.

My team consisted of many other young and intelligent engineers and all of them had traits which matched my temperament. Guy had a great quality of touching people’s hearts and pretty soon he adjusted himself in the new place. It was a young team bubbling with enthusiasm. We all enjoyed thoroughly while at work and many times carried our pleasures outside. Since most of us were bachelors, we had weekend parties without the pressure of going home early. Guy proved to be great party manager and everyone liked him. Those days, I was still in my early thirties and unmarried. However, I was in a steady relationship with a woman. I was quite sure our parents would agree for the wedding. Since my fiancé and Guy came from the same religious sect, my liking for Guy was to become more enhanced in later days. As a human being, I could not have detached myself from either the effect of cognitive psychology or the behavioral chemistry. But I am happy even to this day that Guy and I have remained in close contact, regardless of all that has happened in the individual spheres of our lives. Therefore, sitting there last night was akin to sitting in a family function.

One by one, members of my team tied nuptial knots. In between, I also got married. All of us now had family bonds that brought us even closer. Just when the whole place was in full bloom, I had to leave the organization, having found a more challenging work outside. I could sense that those close to me were not very pleased with my decision. But I had some compulsions which they couldn’t understand. I promised them only one thing. I told them I would stay in touch all my life and they were free to call upon me anytime they wished.

This is the bond which has kept me going. I was deeply concerned when Vaz fell terribly sick. By God’s grace he could recoup his health remarkably. When Guy had his first child, the whole team was thrilled. I paid a visit to Guy’s house to see the little angel in her cradle. There were other persons like Guy who were just as close to my heart, like Web, who has always been extremely close. All his life he has fought diseases. His son, aged 5 fell sick and couldn't recover until very late. Then his wife had multiple diseases which finally took her life and now Web himself is literally bedridden. My team also had Prado who, with Guy shared a great camaraderie. They were great trouble-shooters worthy of my complete trust. Prado was extremely intelligent and a great student of people. His later life revolved around his family and bringing happiness to his only but handicapped child. Prado and I remained very close for a long long time.

While I was much closer to Guy, Web and Prado, I never stopped remembering others. I still recall their names and many faces despite the passage of life bringing discernible differences in appearances. It is a profound and Godly feeling and cannot be described in words. Sitting there last night with Vaz and watching another scene from the theatre of life, I silently thanked Guy for inviting me there.

What a pleasure it is to read your write-ups Sir. You seem to be a deep person who gives a lot of importance to people and their emotions. Of course, they are most valuable in Life, which, many times, people in our personal and professional lives fail to connect with. That keeps me wondering about their materialistic and trivial perspectives. For some, Life unfolds beautifully, and for some, it doesn’t. Yet, several great memories and moments are worth cherishing!

And, the picture you have used here reminds me of the story "Footprints in the Sand". It's always been one of my favourites among the motivational genre! Whatever beautiful related to God and His rich glory is indeed intangibly priceless and precious. Thanks! :)
